Terms of Service

Last updated: July 27, 2026

Welcome to Suffle. Suffle is a social network built around shared interests: you discover people and content around what you care about, share posts, follow others, and join the conversation. These Terms of Service form the legal agreement between you and SUFFLE LLC (30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA), the operator of the Suffle app and the sufflesocial.com website (together, the 'Service'). Please read these terms carefully before using the Service.

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By creating a Suffle account or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use Suffle.

We make the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy available to you at sign-in and in the app's settings. These documents can be reviewed at sufflesocial.com and through the in-app web view.

2. Eligibility and Age Requirement

To register for and use Suffle, you must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction). By creating an account, you explicitly represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. Suffle does not knowingly collect personal data from or permit registration to anyone under the age of 18.

One reason we collect your birthday during registration is to enforce this age requirement. You also represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement and that your use of the Service does not violate any law where you live. If we learn that someone under 18 is using Suffle, we reserve the right to close the account.

3. Account and Registration

To join Suffle, you need to create an account. You can sign in with a supported single sign-on provider (Google, or Apple ID on iOS) or with your phone number using a one-time verification code (OTP) sent to you by SMS.

After sign-in, the registration flow asks for a username, birthday, gender (female/male), and a required profile photo. Gender, once selected, cannot be changed.

  • Impersonating others or providing misleading information is prohibited.
  • Sign-in with Google, Sign in with Apple (on iOS), and phone-number sign-in (using a one-time SMS verification code) are supported; if you do not yet have an account when signing in by phone, you are guided into the registration flow.
  • You may be able to connect a phone number, manage your password, or otherwise manage your account from account settings, where those options are available.
  • When you sign in on another device, your existing sessions may be terminated.

Account Creation & Verification

To access features within Suffle, users must create an account using a phone number or supported third-party single sign-on (SSO) authentication (e.g., Apple ID, Google Account), or a valid email address where that option is offered. Users are required to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

Account Security & Identity

Users are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account login credentials and for all activities that occur under their account. You agree to notify Suffle immediately at contact@sufflesocial.com of any unauthorized use or security breach. Each user may only maintain one active personal account.

4. User Conduct and Community Rules

Suffle is a respectful community where people come together around their interests. When using the Service, you agree to follow these rules.

  • Do not harass, bully, threaten, or engage in hate speech or violence.
  • Do not share adult/explicit content, content involving the exploitation of children, or unlawful content.
  • Do not create fake profiles, impersonate others, or commit identity theft.
  • Do not engage in spam, fraud, or misleading/suspicious activity.
  • Do not infringe the rights of others, including intellectual property and privacy rights.
  • Do not attempt to harm the Service's infrastructure, bypass security measures, or abuse the Service through automated tools.

5. User Content and License

On Suffle, you can share content such as posts, photos, captions, and messages. You retain ownership of the content you share.

By sharing content, you grant SUFFLE LLC a limited, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to host, store, display, reproduce, and make your content available as needed to operate and provide the Service to you and other users. This license is used solely to provide and improve the Service and ends within a reasonable period after you delete your content (it may persist temporarily in backups or where required by law).

You are solely responsible for the content you share. You represent that you hold all rights necessary to share it and that your content does not violate these terms, applicable law, or the rights of third parties.

Images uploaded as posts are automatically tagged and categorized server-side using AI (Google Gemini); these tags help your content surface in Discover and on your profile.

6. Discover, Posts, and Messaging

Suffle lets you discover and share around your interests.

  • Discover: Explore posts using AI-powered search, popular category tags, and your recent searches.
  • Posts: Create a post by selecting and cropping an image from your camera or gallery, optionally adding a caption; you can save it as a draft or publish it.
  • Profile and follow: Edit your profile, follow others, view follower/following lists, and share your profile as a link via your operating system's share sheet.
  • Messaging: Use one-to-one direct messaging to send text and image messages, with features such as replies, a typing indicator, read receipts, and message/conversation deletion.

7. Voice and Video Calls

The voice and video call feature is optional and starts only with mutual consent. Calls can be declined or ended at any time.

Recording or taking screenshots of a call without the clear consent of the other participant is prohibited and may violate applicable law.

8. In-App Purchases: Suffle Elite, Coins, and Refunds

Suffle offers an auto-renewable subscription called 'Suffle Elite' and in-app virtual units called 'Coins.' These purchases are optional; the app can be used without a subscription.

  • Suffle Elite is offered in weekly and monthly plans; an active subscription unlocks additional features and credits a set amount of Coins to your wallet each billing period (300 on the weekly plan, 1,200 on the monthly plan).
  • Subscription and Coin prices are shown at the time of purchase in the app and are charged to your App Store or Google Play account.
  • Suffle Elite renews automatically: unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, the subscription renews for the same duration and price, and your account is charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
  • Coins are virtual, consumable items; they have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash. Purchases are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law and are subject to the relevant store's terms and payment rules.
  • Mandatory legal rights of consumers in Turkiye, including any right of withdrawal, are reserved.

Virtual Items & Digital Services

Suffle offers virtual goods, tokens, credits, or premium memberships ("Virtual Items") that can be purchased through designated application store platforms. Virtual Items are licensed to you on a limited, personal, non-transferable, and revocable basis.

Applicable Application Store Refund Terms

All in-app purchases, payment processing, and refund requests are strictly subject to the terms, conditions, and refund policies of the applicable application store platform through which the purchase was made.

If a user wishes to request a refund for an in-app purchase, the request must be submitted directly to the respective application store provider in accordance with that platform's established policies and evaluation procedures.

Fraudulent Transactions & Chargebacks

In the event of unauthorized purchases, fraudulent activity, or improper chargebacks/reversals initiated through a bank or credit provider:

  • Suffle reserves the right to suspend or terminate the associated account.
  • Any remaining Virtual Items or account features linked to fraudulent transactions may be revoked.

9. Verification Badge

A 'verified' badge may be displayed on profiles, cards, and chat rows. This is a display indicator only; the current release does not include an in-app verification flow that users can submit to.

10. Content Monitoring, Moderation, and Reporting

Suffle is committed to maintaining a safe, transparent, and respectful environment for all users. This section outlines our mechanisms for detecting, reviewing, and removing inappropriate content, as well as enforcing platform safety standards across the entire application.

Suffle reserves the right to review, remove, or restrict content that violates these terms or our community rules; however, we have no obligation to pre-screen all content.

Prohibited Content Standards

Suffle strictly prohibits any content, communications, profiles, or user interactions that contain or promote:

  • Explicit adult content, pornography, or sexually suggestive material involving minors.
  • Hate speech, harassment, bullying, discrimination, or violence.
  • Illegal activities, fraudulent schemes, or unauthorized promotion of regulated goods/services.
  • Copyright or intellectual property infringements.
  • Impersonation or misleading personal information.

Content Monitoring Mechanisms

To enforce these standards, Suffle utilizes a multi-layered moderation system:

  • Automated Safety Filters: Real-time keyword filtering and automated media scanning to detect and flag potentially policy-violating text, images, or media.
  • Human Moderation Team: A dedicated internal compliance and moderation team that reviews flagged content, user reports, and platform activity 24/7.

User Reporting & Notice-and-Takedown System

  • In-App Reporting: Users can report any policy-violating content, message, or user profile directly within the app using the "Report" feature available across all interactive screens. Report categories include fake profile, adult content, identity theft, child exploitation, suspicious activity, harassment, violence/threat, underage, illegal activity, and other.
  • Rapid Response & Takedown: Reported content is prioritized by our moderation team. Content found to violate our policies is removed or restricted promptly.

Enforcement & Penalties

Suffle reserves the right to take immediate action against any user who violates this policy, including:

  • Issuing formal warnings or content takedown notices.
  • Temporary suspension of messaging, interaction, or account privileges.
  • Permanent account termination and blacklisting.

Reporting & Complaints: Overview & Purpose

Suffle is committed to maintaining a safe, legal, and respectful digital ecosystem. This section outlines the procedures for users, rights holders, and the public to report policy violations, inappropriate content, intellectual property infringements, or abusive behavior within the application.

Grounds for Reporting

Users may submit a report or complaint regarding any activity, profile, media, or communication on Suffle that involves:

  • Harassment, hate speech, bullying, or safety threats.
  • Explicit adult material, pornography, or exploitation of minors.
  • Fraudulent activity, impersonation, or scamming.
  • Copyright, trademark, or intellectual property infringements.
  • Illegal acts or promotion of illegal goods and services.

Reporting Mechanisms

Suffle provides two primary channels for submitting complaints and policy violation notices:

  • In-App Reporting (Real-Time): Users can report content, profiles, or messages directly within the application by using the "Report" button available on interactive screens. This automatically captures contextual data for rapid review.
  • Email Reporting (Formal Complaints): For formal legal notices, intellectual property claims, or complex complaints, users may submit a written notice to our compliance team at contact@sufflesocial.com.

Required Information for Formal Complaints

To process formal or legal reports efficiently, the notice must include:

  • Full legal name and contact details of the reporter.
  • Detailed description of the alleged violation and exact location (e.g., User ID, link, or screenshot).
  • A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information provided is accurate and that the reporter is authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder (for IP claims).

Review Process & Response Timeframes

  • Initial Triage: In-app reports are processed by our automated systems and human moderation team 24/7. High-priority reports (e.g., safety, illegal acts) are addressed within 24 hours.
  • Standard Reviews: Formal email complaints are reviewed and resolved within 3 to 5 business days.

Action & Takedown Procedures

Upon confirming a policy violation, Suffle will take appropriate action, which may include issuing formal warnings, removing/restricting the reported content, or suspending/terminating the offending account.

11. Blocking

You can block and unblock other users. Blocking is mutual: it ends both messaging and the follow relationship for both parties. You can see the people you have blocked in your blocked-users list and unblock them from there.

12. Suspension, Blocking, and Account Termination

If you violate these terms or our community rules, your account may be suspended, blocked, or terminated. To appeal a decision about your account or to get more information, you can reach our support team at contact@sufflesocial.com.

Suffle reserves the right to suspend, disable, or permanently terminate any user account without prior notice if:

  • The user provides false, misleading, or inaccurate registration details.
  • The user is found to be under the required age limit (under 18).
  • The user violates our Terms of Use or Community Guidelines.

Account Deletion & Surviving Provisions

You can permanently delete your account at any time from account settings. Account deletion is irreversible; your account is permanently deleted.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including the content license, indemnification, limitation of liability, and governing law) remain in effect after your account ends.

13. Third-Party Services

Suffle relies on third-party services to provide the Service. Your use of these services is subject to the respective providers' own terms and privacy policies.

  • Sign in with Google and Firebase Authentication (authentication session).
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications).
  • Firebase Storage (server-side storage of profile photos and post/chat media).
  • Google Gemini (server-side AI tagging of post images).
  • SMS provider (delivery of the one-time verification code by SMS during phone sign-in/registration).
  • Apple App Store and Google Play (app distribution and in-app purchases when offered).

14. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided 'as is' and 'as available.' SUFFLE LLC makes no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SUFFLE LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, reputation, or profits arising from your use of the Service.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. These provisions do not affect mandatory rights you have under applicable law that cannot be waived by contract, including those of consumers in Turkiye.

16. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless SUFFLE LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, demands, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with the content you share, your use of the Service, your breach of these terms, or your violation of the rights of any third party.

This section does not affect any mandatory rights you have under applicable law, including those of consumers in Turkiye, and applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. For material changes, we will revise the 'last updated' date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

18. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules.

For non-consumer users, the competent courts located in the State of Wyoming, USA shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of these terms or the Service, and such users consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

For consumers in Turkiye, mandatory rights under local consumer protection law, and the right to bring a claim before the competent consumer courts or consumer arbitration committees, are reserved and unaffected by the choice of law and venue provisions above.
