Child Safety Standards

CSAE and CSAM Are Strictly Prohibited

Any content, conduct, message, image, or link constituting child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) or child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is strictly prohibited on Suffle and subject to our zero-tolerance policy.

This prohibition covers the sexualization of minors, attempts to engage minors for sexual purposes (grooming), and the sharing, solicitation, promotion of, or linking to CSAM.

18+ Age Requirement

Suffle is intended solely for people aged 18 and over. Account creation by anyone under 18 is prohibited. When we detect the presence of a minor, we close the account immediately.

Reporting and Feedback Mechanism

Users can report child safety concerns to us without delay. Such reports are prioritized and reviewed urgently.

• You can email our Child Safety Team directly (contact@sufflesocial.com) to report any content, profile, or message suspected of CSAE/CSAM.
• You can use the in-app 'Report' option to report a profile, post, chat, Lounge, or person in a Lounge by choosing the 'Involves a child / Child abuse' or 'Underage user' category.
• You can use the in-app blocking tools to stop all interaction with a user.

Enforcement and Response

When CSAE or CSAM is identified, we take the following actions:

• The content is removed immediately and the account is permanently terminated.
• CSAM is reported to the relevant authorities and organizations such as NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children) as required by applicable law.
• The incident is logged and we take steps to prevent the user from re-registering.

Child Safety in Lounge

Lounge is Suffle's live audio rooms feature. Our zero-tolerance policy and every standard in this document apply equally to live audio, the Lounge chat, and a Lounge's title, description, cover image, and greeting.

• Lounge may only be used by people aged 18 and over.
• Anyone in a Lounge can report the Lounge, or a person inside it, and block people directly from within the Lounge. Because Lounge audio is not recorded, please report a concern without delay and include the Lounge name, the time, and the username involved.
• The Lounge chat and Lounge titles, descriptions, and greetings pass through automated filters; cover images are automatically checked for inappropriate content.
• Lounge staff can silence a speaker's microphone, take them off the stage, and remove people from the Lounge; the host and co-hosts can also ban people from that Lounge.
• The Suffle team can immediately end a Lounge's live session and take everyone inside out of it, remove or ban people from a Lounge, delete a Lounge, and restrict an account's access to Lounge. Where CSAE or CSAM is involved, the steps in 'Enforcement and Response' apply.

Legal Compliance

Suffle is operated in compliance with the child safety laws applicable in the jurisdictions where it operates and with Google Play policies. We review these standards regularly and update them as needed.
